Voluntary Recall

At Hyper, it’s our mission for you to get more out of the tech you use every day. But, beyond this, the safety and satisfaction of our customers are our utmost priority. We have identified a product design issue with the following Hyper stackable chargers that may cause the units to overheat while charging, posing a potential fire hazard to consumers. Therefore, we have implemented a voluntary recall of these products, effective immediately:

• HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger 65W
• HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger 100W

 Hazard: Overheating

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Hyper Products for instructions on how to receive store credit and safely discard/return these products in their possession.

• HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger 100W: UPC 817110014663

 

 

Incidents/Injuries: There have been approximately three confirmed incidents with no reported injuries.    

 Sold at: Hyper Products online at www.hypershop.com and through online retailers at www.indiegogo.com, www.kickstarter.com, and by B&H Photo Video at its retail stores in New York and at   www.bhphotovideo.com, from October 31, 2020, to August 8, 2022. The HyperJuice Stackable GaN Charger had an MSRP of $69.99 (65W) and $99.99 (100W).

 We have identified a product design issue with the HyperJuice 130W USB-C Battery Pack (grey and silver), which may cause them to overheat when charging, posing a potential fire hazard to consumers. Therefore, we have implemented a voluntary recall of these products, effective immediately.

 Hazard: Potential Fire Hazard due to Overheating. 

 Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and contact Hyper Products for instructions on how to safely discard/return these products in their possession for a store credit.
